Membership Categories

Life Membership

Available to those who completed regular BSW/MSW/MA (SW) from UGC-approved universities. Registration fee Rs: 1500 (Note: Rs.1300 for converting student membership to Life membership). Time for getting certificate: Max 1 Month Annual Renewal fees: Rs.100

Student Membership

For BSW/MSW students. One-time fee: Rs.200. Members receive a certificate, and chapter-level events are conducted in partnership with colleges. After course completion, students can upgrade to Life Membership.

Institutions must send student lists (with contact numbers & emails) to KAPS Registered Office.

Life Membership (for Student Members)

Student members who completed their course can upgrade to life membership by paying Rs.1300 (inclusive of INPSWA fee). Annual renewal: Rs.100. Full membership benefits apply.

Associate Membership

For graduates from outside Kerala with BSW/MSW/MA (SW) from UGC-approved universities. Fee: Rs.2000. Renewal: Rs.500 annually. Includes certificate (INPSWA & IFSW), but no voting rights or office bearer eligibility.

Institutional Membership

Social work institutions or organizations led by social workers may join by paying Rs.5000. Annual renewal: Rs.1000. Contact the KAPS office for formal registration procedures.

Fast Track Membership

Rs.6000 for green channel fast processing (certificate will be issued within a week) Green channel applicants should contact KAPS office Kottayam, through phone or email, soon after applying

Good Standing Certificate

Issued to eligible members upon request. Processing fee: Rs.1000. Includes official verification.

CORU & Foreign Board Verifications

For members applying abroad (e.g., Ireland). Fee: Rs.2000. Includes verification and document processing.

Bank Details for Fee Payment: A/c No: 33607666456 – SBI Kottayam Branch IFSC: SBIN0001891 Or via DD in favor of ‘Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers’, payable at Kottayam. KAPS Secretariat will coordinate with respective chapters. Student certificates will be routed through colleges.
