Our Commitment

NGO Partnerships

The Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS) actively engages with a wide range of NGOs and community-based organizations across Kerala. These partnerships are essential to our goal of enhancing the quality and reach of professional social work practice in the state.

Through collaborative efforts, KAPS works hand-in-hand with partners such as Kudumbashree, NRHM, school-based counseling programs, and grassroots-level NGOs to address critical social issues. These partnerships enable us to implement inclusive projects, drive social awareness campaigns, and advocate for policy changes that benefit vulnerable and marginalized populations.

In line with our mission to strengthen the profession, we facilitate capacity building, joint training programs, research, and continuous education initiatives with our NGO partners. These efforts are supported by institutions like the Association of Schools of Social Work in Kerala (ASSK) and the Professional Social Work Educators in Higher Secondary (PROSA).

By nurturing these partnerships, KAPS creates opportunities for knowledge exchange, community impact, and professional growth. Together with our NGO collaborators, we work toward a more just, equitable, and socially responsible Kerala.
