KAPS has actively involved in the break the chain campaign on the Government of Kerala to fight COVID 19. KAPS has published a video containing guidelines for Social Workers on their involvement.

The members are actively associating with ‘Disha’ in Pathanamthitta and Trivandrum districts. The social workers in Ernakulam and Thrissur are involved in telepsycho social support programme of DMHPs. The Pathanamthitta chapter has released a informative poster and also conducted break the chain campaign in various offices in Pathanamthitta. An informative session on COVID 19 was organized at Kottayam along with Observation of World Social Work day. Palakkad chapter has initiated a unique programme for blood donation ‘ONE DAY, ONE DONOR’ which has been approved by the Govt. also. At Kozhikode the social workers in IMHANS along with other professionals in the institution.
