LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Anyone who successfully completes the regular BSW/MSW/MA (SW) programmes from any UGC approved Universities in Kerala state, can become a life member of KAPS by paying Rs.1500 (Rupees one thousand and five hundred only) as membership fees and an annual subscription fees of Rs.100 for continuing as an active voting member. Members will be given certificate of membership (showing the affiliation to INPSWA -the national network of Social Workers Associations and IFSW) and ID card.
Student membership is given in KAPS to those who have enrolled for BSW or MSW/MA (SW) programs. The student membership fee is Rs. 200. A certificate will be given to student members and KAPS district chapters will be organizing programs for the student members in consultation with the concerned departments/schools. Once the students successfully complete their BSW/MSW programs, they can apply for regular life members by paying the balance of Rs. 1300. For enrolling as student members the respective colleges/department should forward list of students (BSW/MSW) with contact numbers and email ids to KAPS Registered office (format attached).
The membership fees may be remitted to A/c No. 33607666456 SBI Kottayam Br. (IFSC SBIN0001891) or through DD in favour of ‘Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers’ payable at Kottayam. The KAPS secretariat will in turn intimate the details to concerned district chapters. The student’s certificates will be sent to the students through concerned college.
Associate Membership
Anyone who successfully completes the regular BSW/MSW/MA (SW) programmes from any UGC approved Universities outside Kerala State can become an Associate member of KAPS by paying Rs.1500 (Rupees one thousand and five hundred only) as membership fees and an annual subscription fees of Rs.100 for continuing as an associate member. Associate members will not have voting rights and they cannot contest in any election of KAPS or cannot become an office bearer of KAPS. They can participate in general body as observer. They can participate in all programmes and avail concessions in fees. Associate members will be given certificate of membership (showing the affiliation to INPSWA -the national network of Social Workers Associations and IFSW). Please contact KAPS office for details.
Institutional Membership
Any institution of Social workers/for social workers/ headed by social worker can become institution member of KAPS by paying Rs.2000 and annual subscription/renewal fees is Rs.250. Please contact KAPS office for details.
