Erumely: The Social Work Association and “CARE BEYOND BOUNDARIES” organized by the PG Social Work Department of MES College, Erumely in collaboration with IQAC was inaugurated on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the Seminar Hall. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Anilkumar S. inaugurated the new initiative of the department called Care Beyond Boundaries. Mr. Sajo Joy, President of KAPS Kottayam Chapter, inaugurated the Department Student Association. He spoke about the importance of overcoming boundaries and performing service in his life. He also thanked the MES College for the opportunities provided to the Social Work students.
The program was attended by many people including teachers and students of the college.
Athira M. A. Presided over the program. Muhammad Shifas K. S., Head of the Social Work Department, led the program.
Various cultural programs were also presented by the students.
Various programs are being organized in the college from August 5 to September 5 as part of the observation of Indian Social Work Month (INPSWA)
Then, the orientation of KAPS was given by the President of the Kottayam Chapter of KAPS, Resident Sajo Joy.
