Kattakada: Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS) Thiruvananthapuram Chapter, in association with the Department of Social Work, Vigyaan College of Applied Sciences (VICAS), Kattakada, is organizing a special program as part of the World Social Work Day 2026 celebrations.
The global theme for this year is:
“Co-Building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society.”
The theme highlights the importance of collective action, solidarity, and shared responsibility in bringing people together and building inclusive and compassionate communities.
As part of the program, Dr. Rakesh Chandran C. R. will deliver a special talk focusing on strengthening social unity, hope, and collaborative approaches in addressing contemporary social challenges.
