Perinthalmanna : The Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS) Malappuram District Chapter, in association with the PG Department of Social Work, SNDP YSS College, Perinthalmanna, is organizing the World Social Work Day Celebration 2026.
The event is held under the global theme:
“Co-Building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society.”
Inspired by the spirit of Harambee – “pulling together”, the theme highlights the importance of collective action, unity, and collaboration in addressing social challenges and strengthening communities.
The programme will bring together social work professionals, academicians, students, and community leaders to reflect on the profession’s commitment to social justice, inclusion, and community well-being.
