Ernakulam :The Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS) – Ernakulam Chapter will organize a district-level celebration of World Social Work Day 2026 on 17 March 2026 at Rajagiri Viswajyothi College of Arts & Applied Sciences, Vengoor, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
The programme will bring together social work professionals, academicians, practitioners, and students for a day of insightful discussions and meaningful engagement on contemporary social issues. The event will feature keynote sessions and interactive discussions led by eminent personalities from the fields of social work, governance, and public policy.
World Social Work Day is observed globally to recognize the contributions of social workers in promoting social justice, strengthening communities, and supporting vulnerable populations. The Ernakulam Chapter programme aims to create a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and professional networking while highlighting the role of social workers in building inclusive and resilient societies.
