Pathanamthitta : The KAPS Pathanamthitta Chapter organized the World Social Work Day celebration and seminar at Mar Eusebius Hall, Pathanamthitta.
The meeting was presided over by Chapter President Shan Ramesh Gopan. Dr. John Varghese, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pathanamthitta, officially inaugurated the programme.
Dr. Anita Kumari L., District Medical Officer; Asha Mol K.V., District Women and Child Development Officer; Febna Rahim, District Child Protection Officer; Dr. Sandheesh P.T., Clinical Psychologist, District Hospital; Adv. Reni K. Jacob, State Coordinator, Anti-Trafficking Club; Ajin Varghese, KAPS District Secretary; Shiju M. Samson, Treasurer; and Executive Committee Members Prince Philip, Bini Mariam Jacob, and Sukanya Chinthuraj also addressed the gathering.
The programme brought together social work professionals, officials, and students to observe World Social Work Day and discuss the importance of strengthening professional social work practice in society.
